So far 2015 has been so incredibly spring-like, and when we had a nice Sunday a couple weeks ago we decided to go out on the spur of the moment and do a little photoshoot. Luckily for us, our son’s neighborhood friend is ALWAYS up for having her photos taken! Last fall when we took her family’s photos, she told us she wanted to save up and hire us for her own personal session. So, I knew we could easily convince her to join us! She showed up at the house wearing this awesome leather jacket and I immediately had the idea of adding a red bandana and going with a rockabilly-urban vibe. Convincing our son to dress up and join us took a little bit more effort, but he eventually decided to come along with us. They selected their own props – some retro cameras, a ukulele and an old rusty cap gun (that never actually made it out of the car!) and we went to some of our favorite urban spots in the valley. It was a lot of fun and I was really happy with the way they turned out! I can’t wait to do it again!
