My dear friend Kim has been requesting a special “Independence Day” mini for awhile now, and of course I wanted to oblige! Just like most mini ideas, once I have the concept in my head it grows and morphs until I cannot contain it any longer and it MUST be done! I was even more thrilled when I was out shopping at the local nursery here in North Bend and I saw the perfect little cherry and apple orchard near the edge of their property, there could be no better spot and if a cherry tree doesn’t scream “America” what does?! Of course, we got our two little munchkins in on the fun too!
