I am so embarrassingly behind on blogging, but there is one upside to it… as I sit here sweltering in this humid June heat wave, it is a bit refreshing to be blogging about a cool, rainy session from almost 3 months ago.

The Broyles family have been good friends of ours for quite a long time, and we occasionally have the opportunity to photograph them, which is just another (much needed) excuse for us to get together! I always love the outfits they wear and they are such good sports…even in very drizzly, dreary weather. Luckily, Rattlesnake Lake provides some sheltered areas and at the end we went down by the lake and all ended up a little damp, but no worse for wear. In fact I actually liked the way the environment lent itself to the overall feel of the session,  it felt very natural and organic, like them.

Thank you again Broyles Family for coming out and allowing us to capture your loving family (again!).
