{Follow along in a little project/challenge Dan and I have against one another. Every week we choose a word at random from a very, very long list of words we made. Each of us have to create our own photographic interpretation of that word…then we see whose is best! Links below to the other words we have already shot!}
Its Monday! That means it’s time to share our most recent {52 word} submissions! Thanks for checking in on last weeks word, High Key! It was fun to hear what everyone thought of them and which one was “best”!
This last week was “Black and White”. I admit…things have been pretty busy around here, and that means that perhaps our creativity might have suffered. But, we keep plugging away at it! I think Photo #1 might need some explanation to those outside of our little local valley. Way back in the 90’s, our little town was the backdrop for a show that turned into a Cult Classic. David Lynch has returned to North Bend to pick back up on the series, Twin Peaks, and our town has turned into a little slice of Hollywood. The streets have been lined with production equipment, crews, bright lights and lookie-loos! So, of course, we had to get in on the action and see what we could see…and it made a fun black and white photo too.
What do you think? Which do you like best, the excitement of the film crew, or the beauty and texture of a dahlia (a lovely gift from our clients garden even!)?
