About a year ago we were able to photography the Tozer family, and since then their little family has expanded andwere so happy to come back and meet their newest family member! In addition to the baby, it was a special visit from Grandma that prompted this years extended family session. Unfortunately, the weather was miserable…and definitely not suitable for a newborn baby! So, we moved the session into their home! I love sessions in the home, they are so much more personal and the kids always feel totally at ease which always works well for photos! As always, my most favorite shots were after we were “done”. I had promised (OK, bribed) some treats for the kids after the session was done, and when I ran out to the car and upon my return I saw their little faces pressed up against the window waiting for their treats. I about melted from cuteness overload, but instead I quickly called Dan out with the camera. Once we were done with the posed shots they happily munched on cookies and colored with the holiday coloring books I had brought them. Photographing them in their natural surroundings and doing things they love doing, with grandma lovingly looking over them…does it get any more perfect than that? Nope.
