It’s the final installment of the “10 on the 10th” blog for 2016! As always, follow along throughout the entire blog circle once you have looked through my 10! Next up is Aimee!
Way back in July, about a week prior to my fateful back injury… Dan and I had a long weekend without kids. It was glorious. We went on a road trip over to South Eastern Washington, through the Palouse. It is truly one of the most gorgeous places on earth, and one of those times I wish I was a better landscape photographer because these photos truly do not do it justice. And to be totally honest, I spent MUCH more time taking video than taking photos – so I will have to work on putting together that video to go with it too.
After a few days we returned home just in time for a beautiful, summer dinner party at a friends house where my old friend and roommate was providing the music. It was a perfect way to end a perfect weekend… and I am especially grateful to have had such a lovely time, especially since the rest of my summer was kinda’ a bust. As I literally, spent almost all summer in bed afterwards! And, since I am finally able to start going through these photos and editing them, I figured a little taste of summer would be a nice way to spend a chilly Sunday evening in December!
